Head of Student Outcomes
Syreeta Allen has dedicated her career to empowering under-represented young people and adults through education. As Head of Student Outcomes at King’s College London, she is leading the institution in addressing differential outcomes in attainment and improving progression to work and further study for under-represented learners. Syreeta is a leading voice for BAME student success and is progressing the race equality agenda at King’s through her work as co-chair of the Race Equality charter mark. Before joining King’s, she established the learning programme for the first heritage centre dedicated to Black British history, Black Cultural Archives. Syreeta began her career as a Further Education lecturer for adult literacy. In her free time, Syreeta is deeply involved with her local community, practices floristry and reads widely on Black British identity and history.
