Sheena Chaudhry is a Diversity & Inclusion practitioner and strategist with HireSmart Consulting. She has an extensive background in many areas of HR with a focus on Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Attraction.
Sheena started her career at a major bank with a securities licence, providing financial advice to customers. Her passion for working with people led her to a career in human resources within the financial services sector. She quickly realized the business value of a diverse workforce and began with integrating talent attraction strategies to attract diverse, underrepresented groups, to diversify talent and tap into candidate pools that competitors had not focused on. She has led multiple organizations to be awarded Canada’s Top Diversity Employer with the development of a solid business case and strategy. She has developed and implemented various programs and initiatives to drive the diversity and inclusion agenda forward with leadership support. She continues to partner with organizations to gain leadership buy in and develop strategies to address gaps in culture, talent and training.
Sheena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.
